You never get a second chance to make a good first impression. I’ve been to so many different business functions and networking events, and I see entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals meet people and fail to introduce themselves properly.
So, when you meet a stranger, you don’t want to be overly excited. You don’t want to be overly eager. Like, example, you meet someone and say “Hey nice to meet you!” You’re shaking their hand “Oh yeah, very nice to meet you!”, You don’t want to do that. You want to be nice and calm. You want to be a professional.
Mention your name while shaking the person’s hand firmly and keeping eye contact. After mentioning your name talk about what value do you bring in the market place. For example
My name is Ethan Musolini. I am a motivational speaker, author and consultant. I help individuals and organizations to raise their consciousness and realize their greatness nice to meet you while shaking the person’s hand firmly and keep eye contact.
So, in those few statements have said my name, mentioned what I do and the value I bring to the market place.
